Pomodoro desk timer

The one I actually use: 25 minutes on, 5 off, a long break every fourth bell. No account, no streak counter, no sounds you cannot turn off. If you want the method behind it, there is a note on schedules that do not collapse.

Why it looks so plain

Every timer app I tried wanted an account, a theme shop, or a streak that made me feel behind. This is a clock with two numbers. It keeps counting if you switch tabs, and if you close the page mid-session you get the remaining time back when you come back, because the deadline is stored on your side, not mine.

The sync thing

While a session runs the page checks in with this site every thirty seconds — it is how I noticed my desk lamp timer and the wall clock disagree. Nothing else is sent anywhere. There is no server behind the sync beyond one small file on this very page.
